She’s read countless books on the subject of the minds’ ability to heal the body and attended lectures. As much as I enjoyed my nursing career I felt that the focus was not the holistic approach I was looking for. Hypnotherapy on the other hand, offers the ability to create a sense of peace and harmony within an individual, thereby allowing them to meet the present challenge in their life. This challenge, whether emotional, psychological or physical, can then be met, and dealt with in a positive way, making the journey toward wellness and peace of mind, less traumatic. In this way we have an individual free from ‘dis-ease’, functioning well, physically, emotionally, and socially.
My practice is a general one, the areas in which I have found hypnotherapy helpful are:-
All of these areas and more can be dealt with using hypnotherapy, however I have found that a majority of my clients have presented with severe anxiety and panic attacks. I have therefore found myself somewhat specializing in this area. Using hypnotherapy, and a combination of self- hypnosis, meditation and/or relaxation techniques, has proved a successful combination in the approach to these severe anxiety states.
